ASP Certified Community Grant | Background
Southern Cross Agricultural Exports and family farming enterprises behind the ASP Certified Cereal Standard have launched an exciting initiative to assist regional communities who support and sustain Australian farmers.
Southern Cross Agricultural Exports are proud to announce the ASP Certified Community Fund. This fund will allocate a proportion of grain sales every year back into the community from which we source our ASP Certified produce. At Southern Cross Agricultural Exports we believe in giving back to the communities which support our growers.
Through the ASP Certified Community Fund, community groups may apply for funding to enable them to build stronger communities.
In future years, this fund will grow as sales of our sustainable line of produce increases. This initial grant will only be available to community projects being undertaken in the Gilgandra region of NSW. This will be reviewed annually and is based on the certified grains purchased from this region in the 2014-15 year.
One of the primary drivers for our programme is to foster sustainable communities in regional and remote areas.
This core value forms part of our standard for growers to become certified as ASP Certified growers. Whether a sporting club, service club or a small community group looking for assistance to fund a project linked to a wider community outcome – Southern Cross Agricultural Exports encourages you to apply.
